Funeral services for Elsie Wilson were held Tuesday at McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin. Burial was at Mount Ayr Cemetery, Altamont. Memorials may be made to the Gallatin Senior Citizens Center.
Elsie L. Wilson, 70, Kidder, died Friday, March 4, 2005, at the Cameron Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Wilson was born April 13, 1934, to Albert and Hazel “McWilliams” Bufano in Dunbar, Penn. She married Leonard Wilson on March 2, 1952, in Maryland. They moved to Kidder in 1967.
Mrs. Wilson worked as a nurse’s aid in Gallatin, Hamilton and Cameron nursing homes, retiring in 1993.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard, in 1976; and by two brothers, Albert and James Bufano.
Survivors include three sons, Gary of Kidder, Bill of Kingston, and Alan of Kidder; two daughters, Yvonne Gilbody of Cameron and Linda Murry of Kidder; three sisters, Betty Showman, Glenda McLaughlin and Laura Goodsight, all of Pennsylvania; one brother, Stanley Bufano of Virginia; 12 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
