The week of Feb. 20-25, the Winston FFA Chapter is celebrating National FFA Week. During the week, the chapter dedicated different theme days.

Sunday — the chapter attended the United Methodist Church in Winston.

Monday — Blue and Gold Day. Chapter members wore blue and gold to represent the colors of the National FFA.

Tuesday — Teacher Appreciation Day. The students set out meat and cheese trays for the teachers.

Wednesday — Official Dress Day. All chapter members wear their official dress to school with a community appreciation dinner that night. After dinner, the annual labor auction will be held. Individuals from the chapter will be “sold” to members of the community to work for them for four hours.

Thursday — Camo Day. Members wear camouflage clothes to school.

Friday — Barnyard Day. Different animals will be brought for the elementary to see. Also that day, the chapter will present Food For America, which will explain to the children where different foods originate. They will also have a fire safety presentation.
