All Winston Scouting groups participated in Scout Sunday Services on Feb. 6 at the Winston United Methodist Church. The services were opened with Jackie Lee singing America the Beautiful during the presentation of Colors. The pledge was lead by Clint Alexander.

Kenny Lee led the congregation in the “On My Honor” responsive reading. Pastor Nick Kindred children’s’ time sermon was “Be Prepared”. The Girl Scouts performed special music, God’s All Star Champions.

Codie Turner and Morgan Farrell took the offering. Pastor Kindred’s sermon posed the question, “Was the Good Samaritan the First Boy Scout?”

The scouts attending the services were Jared Lee, Kenny Lee, Caitlin Carder, Pastor Nick Kindred, Emily McFee, Codie Turner, Danny Benedict, Jody Michael, Zeke Bridgeman, Ashley Turner, Aaron Piburn, Chandler Newman, and Tabitha Piburn, Jeremy Sanders, Clint Alexander, Morgan Farrell, Jesse Branstetter, and Jackie Lee.
