The North Daviess FFA will be holding a community dinner and member auction on Saturday, Feb. 26, from 6-8 p.m. The dinner and auction will take place in the high school cafeteria located in Jameson. The member auction will begin at 7 p.m. and all 10 high school FFA members will be auctioned off for eight hours of work. Come on down and enjoy some chili, vegetable, or taco soup and find some cheap labor for hauling hay, cleaning out sheds, helping work livestock, manual labor, cleaning house or babysitting.
FFA Week Activities include:
Sunday Feb. 20 — FFA church (meet at Jameson Baptist Church at 10:15); BBQ (Ag Shop)
Monday Feb. 21 — Hotdog eating contest (held in the gym during lunch); Camouflage dress-up day
Tuesday Feb. 22 — Pedal tractor obstacle course (held in the gym during lunch); Dress up as a cowboy day
Wednesday Feb. 23 — Bat race (held in the gym during lunch); Plaid dress up day
Thursday Feb. 24 — Teacher Appreciation Day (desserts for teachers and administration at lunch); Official Dress Day (for FFA members pictures last 30 minutes of 8th Hour); blue and gold dress up day
Friday Feb. 25 — Trivia contest (agriculture trivia in the gym last hour); Pie in the face day (teacher who wins the most money gets a pie in the face last hour); Hat day
Saturday Feb. 26 — Movies (Cameron Theatre); Member auction and community dinner (6 p.m. in cafeteria)
