Kevin Heldenbrand, sheriff, met with the commission concerning his budget and law enforcement issues.
At 10 a.m. as advertised, the commission held the final budget hearing. No one from the public attended. The commission met with Kevin Heldenbrand, sheriff, and Julia Filley, prosecuting attorney, to discuss changes in their budgets. The commission reviewed the completed budget document, executing the appropriation order.
David Tolen reported that the two-inch base rock has been applied to the road in Jamesport Special Road District as requested at the last meeting. CART road number 65, consisting of one-half mile, and one-fourth mile to CART road 70, will be included in the 2005 CART program.
Linda Adkins, circuit clerk, met with the commission reporting problems with a computer in the courtroom.
Craig Smith, Extension, met with the commission regarding the 2005 budget and the agreement between Caldwell and Daviess Counties for funding of the office.
