I have a question for Toby pertaining to his statement of the city’s finances. Would you please explain how the city’s cash balance can increase by $122,000 when the statement reflects only $42,000 of revenue over expenditures.
Maybe I’m missing something, but it seems to me either the city does not have that much money in the bank or a lot of revenue is unaccounted for in your bookkeeping.
Possibly listing the balance from the bank account statements would provide more reliable information to the residents of the city.
