Gallatin R-5 has missed eight days due to inclement weather. Bearing in mind that winter isn’t over and other revisions may yet be needed, the make-up calendar looks like the following:
Feb. 21 will be the first make-up day. (President’s Day).
March 10, which was set to dismiss at 1 p.m., will now be a whole day of school and the parent-teacher conference previously planned for that day will be canceled.
March 11 will be the second make-up day.
The third make up day will be May 24 with dismissal at 1p.m. (A teacher in-service will be held on May 25).
Five days were already built into the schedule for the end of May. The last day of school has been moved from May 23 to May 24.
Easter Break is unchanged.
Superintendent James Ruse would like to thank the parents who brought students to buses and into school during the inclement weather.
