Virginia Lee Olson, 67, died Friday, Jan. 14, 2005, at her home at Lake Viking.
A memorial service for Virginia Olson will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, at the Lake Viking Church. Inurnment will be held at Mitchell Cemetery in Livonia. Arrangements are by McWilliams Funeral Home, Gallatin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lions Club of Lake Viking.
Virginia Lee Olson, 67, died Friday, Jan. 14, 2005, at her home at Lake Viking.
Virginia Lee Olson was born Oct. 16, 1937, in Livonia. She was the daughter of the late Earl and Beatrice “Taylor” Harris, formerly of Unionville. She graduated from Lancaster High School.
On March 3, 1957, she married Dr. James A. Olson in Kirksville. The couple formerly lived in Watertown, Wis., and Reeseville, Wis., moving to Kansas City in 1977, where they made their home until 1993. They then moved to Lake Viking.
Mrs. Olson was also preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Olson, and a grandson, Matthew, in 1992, and a brother, Wayne Harris, in 1969.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. James Olson, of the home; two sons, Michael Olson, DeSoto, and Jeffrey Olson, Olathe, Kan.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
