Pattonsburg R-2 Freshmen FFA members will be receiving their first FFA degrees at 7:20 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 20 in the agriculture classroom.
A list of successful applicants was presented to FFA Advisor, Amy Sullivan, and after careful review 10 candidates were selected to join the ranks. The members receiving their Greenhand FFA Degrees will be Kristina Breeden, Brooke Carter, Rhyse Curtis, Kayla Guzan, Kate Hangley, Alyssa Lambert, Chase Morris, Jeremiah Nitzschke, Jeremy Pittsenbarger, and Whitney Sperry.
In addition to the induction of freshmen members, successful sophomores will be presented with their second degree, the Chapter FFA Degree. The Chapter Farmer Degree is the highest honor a chapter can bestow upon its members. Those receiving the chapter degree will be JJ Allee, Cassie Brown, Justin Coffey, Trayce deJong, Mike Foster, Tommy Kimberly, John Long, Justin Nalle, and Aleah Sperry.
Parents and cameras are welcome. There will be a short reception following.
