Mary Kish a native of Maryville, has accepted the position of superintendent at Tri-County R-VII School for the year 2005-2006. According to Board President Richard Dustman, Ms. Kish of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa will begin her duties on July 1.
Mrs. Kish is a native of the Maryville area and has most recently been employed at a community college. Mr. Dustman said Ms. Kish was one of nine applicants for the position and one of six interviewed for the position.
Ms. Kish will replace the current superintendent, Ron Garber, who announced his resignation last May.
