Pastor Spencer Ray of the First Baptist Church of Gallatin and his wife Michelle are happy to announce the birth of their fifth child, Jane Bradford Ray. Jane was born on Dec. 20, 2004, at the Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph. She weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 22 inches long.
The baby’s first name, Jane, means “God’s Gracious Gift.” Bradford is the surname of Spencer’s great-grandmother.
Jane was welcomed home by four siblings: Abigail Anne, 13, Truett Colay, 11, Titus Michael, 8, and Anna Spencer, 6. Paternal grandparents are Herbert and Jo Ray of Springdale, Ark. Maternal grandparents are Mike and Moleta King to Tulsa, Okla.
