At 9 a.m. as advertised the commission discussed the necessity of amending the 2004 Law Enforcement Sales Tax budget, increasing both revenues and expenses. The budget was amended unanimously.

The commission reviewed budget requests for 2005 from the juvenile office, the public defender’s office, Region H Hazmat, proposed 43rd Judicial Circuit Court Services, University Extension Council, and Associate Circuit Judge Daren Adkins. The commission discussed the 2005 CART program and other bridge department needs. Betty Harmison, assessor, met with the commission for preliminary budget requests. Linda Adkins, Circuit Clerk, met with the commission regarding past budgets and her 2005 budgets. Reta Rains, treasurer, met with the commission regarding her budget.

Bob Burnett, Snyder and Associates, met with the commission regarding BRO project (25) The commission requested that the old “Auldridge Bridge” plaque be preserved and placed on the new bridge.

Bills were audited and paid.
