Individuals in Pattonsburg can help meet the local needs by donating blood at the Community Blood Center blood drive on Wednesday, Jan. 19, from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in the west-side Fellowship Hall. To sign up, please call Rhonda Lambert at 660-367-4703. Just one donation can help as many as three local hospital patients. Community Blood Center must collect at least 550 pints of blood every day to meet the needs of our area.
