Raymond W. Baker, 62, Gallatin, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, at Cameron Regional Medical Center.

Raymond W. Baker, 62, Gallatin, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, at Cameron Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Baker was born March 4, 1942, to Leonard and Marie (Swartz) Baker in Jefferson, Iowa.
He was an Army Airborne veteran serving his country for three years with the 3rd Airborne Battalion in Ft. Bragg, N.C.
On May 4, 1987, he married Catherine Simmons in Maysville. They made their home in the Gallatin area.
Mr. Baker’s job as a painter for a contractor of tall buildings took him all over the country.
He was a member of the Painters Union in Kansas City.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine, of the home; two sons, Thomas Baker, Gallatin, and Joseph Baker.
