Funeral services for Anna Beers were held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Poland-Thompson Chapel, Cameron. Burial was at Mount Ayr Cemetery, Altamont. Memorials may be made to Children’s Mercy Hospital and/or the family.
Anna Mae (Adamson) Beers, 83, Winston, died Dec. 24, 2004.
Mrs. Beers was born on Dec. 1, 1921, in St. Joseph, to Jackson and Daisy Belle (Moberly) Dare.
She was an assembler and finisher at the Hamilton Shoe Factory.
Mrs. Beers was a member of the Church of Christ, Cameron.
Survivors include two sons, Terry Beers, Turney, and J.R. Beers, Altamont; one brother, Rayfield Dare, St. Joseph; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
