Gallatin Junior High basketball squads captured second place finishes last weekend in the Hamilton Tournament. The boys beat Maysville, 35-25, in the opening round, but fell in a heartbreaker to Hamilton, 27-26, in the championship game. The girls handled Maysville, 20-4, in their opener, but lost to South Harrison, 29-23, in the title game.
Gallatin teams beat Maysville last week in regular season action. The B boys won, 25-21. The A boys came out on top, 34-28. The B girls rolled, 30-9, and the A girls won, 23-17.
The Lady Bulldog B squad was never challenged in nine games and registered a perfect 9-0 season mark. The A girls finished with an 11-1 record. The B boys were 5-4 on the season, and A boys were 7-5 for the year.
