Funeral services for Dwight Parks were held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Poland-Thompson Chapel, Cameron. Burial was at Cameron Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made to Cameron Regional Medical Center.
Dwight W. “Sparky” Parks, 76, Cameron, Missouri died on December 19, 2004.
Mr. Parks was born on August 21, 1928 in Dewey, Okla., to Ernest and Ethel (French) Parks.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Eugene Parks.
Mr. Parks married Lydia Milligan on June 4, 1949 in Cameron. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include four sons, Dwight R. Parks and Larry Parks, Cameron, Earnest Parks, Smithville, and Leonard Parks, Liberty; two daughters, Stella Goucher, Winston, and Cecil Johnson, Lucky, Ohio; two brothers, Everett Parks and Raymond Parks, Cameron; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
