Search warrant executed at Lake Viking, investigation continues

A 29-year-old Winston man was arrested at the Lake Viking Clubhouse on Dec. 10 for misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Following his arrest, four additional subjects were taken into custody at a Lake Viking residence, after the owner of the residence indicated to Sheriff Kevin Heldenbrand by phone that no one was supposed to be there. A search warrant was executed. Four of the subjects were subsequently released. The investigation is continuing.

A 22-year-old Hamilton woman was charged Dec. 10 with the Class A misdemeanor of passing bad checks. She posted $150 bond.

A 32-year-old Des Moines man was arrested Dec. 11 for misdemeanor no valid license, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana. He posted $900 bond.
