Under federal law all men must register with Selective Service within
30 days of their 18th birthday. Registration is quick and easy and IT IS THE LAW. Men can register on-line at www.sss.gov or they can pick up a Selective Service registration card at any post office. Don’t unknowingly place at risk your eligibility for future college loans and grants, job training, Federal and many state government jobs. Selective Service NOW accepts early submission of registration information by 17-year-old men. Submit information to Selective Service at age 17 years and 3 months old and be automatically registered when you turn 18. 12-8
