Members of the Gallatin FCCLA Chapter traveled to Osage Beach for the 2004 Access FCCLA Conferences. The conferences took place Oct. 24-25 at the Tan-Tar-A Resort.

Access FCCLA consists of three different conferences. The A+ Conference is for new FCCLA members. This program teaches students to apply skills learned in FCCLA to their life. Attending the conference were Sydney Elbert, Casey Sweatman, Kelly Critten, Sarah Cornett, Taylor Porter and Tye Humphrey.

Leadership Unlimited is a conference in which students learn to make a positive difference in families, careers, and communities through the development of better leadership skills. Members attending this conference included Kathryn Everly, Katie Patton and Jamie Hobbs of Tri-County High School in Jamesport.

STOP the Violence – Students Taking On Prevention is a peer-to-peer outreach program that empowers young people to recognize, report and reduce violence in schools and communities. Students trained in this program were Emily Michener, Ayrica Batson, Alyssa Strein, Danielle Critten, Karly Goll and Macoe Street.
