County Commission
These are the approved minutes of Oct. 25, 2004. All commissioners were in attendance.
James Lewis, bridge supervisor, met with the commission reporting that a truck damaged bridge 0060020 in Benton Township on Oct. 20. Minimal damage occurred to the bridge, and repairs will be made this week. They are also continuing with tube replacements.
Tony DeLong, University of Missouri Extension, met with the commission for introductory purposes.
Linda Bohannon met with the commission on behalf of Crystal and Cody Cook, North Daviess School District, requesting that their school expenses be reimbursed according to the Frazier Trust fund policy. The commission will review the matter and make a determination.
The commission met with Clint Mason, Snyder and Associates, and representatives of Missouri Department of Transportation and Decker Construction, at the construction site of BRO(25) in Sheridan Township. The bridge was accepted pending a letter of recommendation from the engineering firm.
Eli Gingerich, Jamesport Special Road District, met with the commission requesting information on the process of moving a road. He will be sent the proper petition forms for vacation of the existing road and the establishment of a new road.
Larry Rhoades, Liberty Township, contacted the commission following notice from his trash service of their refusal to cross a bridge on Reel Ave. The commission will send a copy of the most recent state bridge inspection report, January 2004, showing that no posting is necessary.
