Funeral services for D. Irene Polley will be held Friday, Oct. 29, at the Roberson Funeral Home in Eagleville. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery, Eagleville. The family will receive friends after 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home were friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to Eagleville Methodist Church in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 46, Bethany, Mo., 64424.
Mrs. Polley was born April 4, 1905, in Harrison County, the daughter of Billy and Minnie (Taylor) Lacy.
On Feb. 19, 1923, she married Dayton Polley in Princeton. He died on July 12, 2000.
Mrs. Polley was a homemaker and attended the Eagleville United Methodist Church, and was in the women’s church group. She was also a member of the Ridgeway Garden Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn Ballew and Ramona Smith, Eagleville; one son, Bradford Polley, Las Vegas, Nev.; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
