Pilot Grove No. 1 Baptist Church welcomes children and adults to a special Kids Harvest Party on Sunday, Oct. 31. The children are invited to a party downstairs in the church with all kinds of games, candy and prizes, while the adults can enjoy a free concert by the gospel singing group Living Water on the main level of the church.
The church wished to offer the children and adults of the area a safe, fun environment as an alternative to trick or treating door-to-door this Halloween. Children may come in costumes, but don’t have to. There is no age limit and adult supervision for the youngsters will be provided as they participate in crafts and games while the adults attend the concert. Plenty of treats will be available.
The concert begins at 6 p.m. and activities are expected to last until about 8 p.m.
The church is located at 14509 State Hwy. YY (where YY and B meet) near Jamesport. Look for the flashing lights.
Pilot Grove begins its revival on Oct. 31, continuing through Nov. 5, with evangelist David Mansingh. There will be special music nightly and a youth night on Wednesday with pizza and pop afterward.
