Funeral services for Lola Snider will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 22, at the Chandler Baptist Church in Liberty. Family visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be held at the Fairport Cemetery, Fairport. Arrangements are by McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Chandler Baptist Church in Liberty.

Lola C. Snider, 73, Kansas City, died Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, at the Independence Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Snider was born May 28, 1931, to the late Raymond and Edna Wolf in rural DeKalb County. She graduated from Maysville High School in 1951.

She married Dale Snider on Aug. 7, 1953, in Santa Rosa. He died in 1998. They lived in the Kansas City area and Mrs. Snider worked at the Mercantile Bank for 30 years, retiring in 1986. After retirement, she worked at the Chandler Baptist Church assisting with the Parents Day Out program.

She was a member of the Chandler Baptist Church, Mended Heart Organization, Kansas City Campers, and a square dance club.

Mrs. Snider was preceded in death by her granddaughter in 1979.

Survivors include two sons, Randy of Liberty, Raymond of Kansas City; one daughter, Kathy Henderson of Raymore; and seven grandchildren.
