Knee-H 4-H Club
The Knee-H 4-H Club met on Oct. 13 at the Christian Church Fellowship Hall. President Casey Alden called the meeting to order. Maggie Strange led the pledge of allegiance and Casey Sweatman led the 4-H pledge. Roll call was answered by telling a favorite Halloween candy. Kaley Sheldon gave the treasurer’s report. Recognition Night will be held at 4 p.m. on Oct. 17. It was voted to donate money to the state livestock judging tam members, Erin Croy and Jamie Tummons, to help with expenses at the national judging contest in Louisville, Ken. Danielle Ness presented the health tip. She stated that the American Dental Association recommends that Halloween candy should be consumed in a three to four day period to reduce the risk of tooth decay. Kaley Sheldon presented a program that helped the members get to know each other better. Wrapping paper orders were passed out. Next meeting will be at 7 p.m. on Nov. 10 at the Christian Church Fellowship Hall.
