Funeral services for Eva S. Diven were held Sunday at Poland-Thompson Chapel in Cameron. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery, Cameron. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Comfort Care Hospice, Cameron.
Sarah A. Eva (Murdock) Diven, 84, Cameron, died on Oct. 14, 2004.
Mrs. Diven was born on Dec. 24, 1919, in Kingston, to Walker and Anna (Lewellen) Murdock.
She was a homemaker and a local farm owner.
Mrs. Diven was a member of the Kidder United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women’s Group.
She married John Diven on July 5, 1938, in Gallatin. He died in 2003.
Mrs. Diven was also preceded in death by six brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include four sons, David Diven, Winston, Ron Diven, Hamilton, Danny Diven, Kansas City, and Jerry Diven, Tulsa, Okla.; one daughter, Jill Woods, McCook, Neb.; 15 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
