Funeral services for Florence Harris were held Saturday at the First Christian Church in Gallatin. Burial was at Centenary Cemetery, Gallatin. Arrangements were by McWilliams Family Funeral Homes. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the First Christian Church Building Fund, Gallatin.

Mrs. Harris was born July 19, 1932, to John Henry and Ethel Elizabeth “Whitt” Cox in Breckenridge. She attended Gallatin and Breckenridge schools.
On Oct. 16, 1948, she married Johnnie Harris in Gallatin.
Mrs. Harris was employed at Lambert Manufacturing Co., for 44 years, working at a variety of jobs including floor supervisor.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Johnnie; two daughters, Kay Britz of Kansas City and Cindy Fetters of Gallatin; two brothers, Henry Cox of Gallatin and Don Cox of Independence; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
