A memorial service for Charles Roberts Jr. will be held at the family home in Meadville at 3 p.m. on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Meadville Baptist Church and may be mailed to the Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, 64601.
Charles Edwin Roberts Jr., 60, Meadville, died Tuesday, Sept. 7.
Mr. Roberts was born on March 31, 1944, the son of Charles E. and Emma B. (Williams) Roberts in St. Joseph.
Mr. Roberts served in the Army from 1962 until 1964.
He was the owner and operator of Roberts Tool & Die.
On June 9, 1967, he married Linda Alee in St. Joseph. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Anthony Roberts of Osage Beach, and John Bradley of Houston Lake; two daughters, Amy Moore of Independence and Andrea Haggard of Kansas City; four sisters, Sharon Boitel of Osceola, Thresa Roberts, Renee Jackson and Lisa Lamb, all of Louisville, Ken.; two brothers, Freddie Roberts and Mike Roberts, both of Louisville, Ken.; and three grandchildren.
