The National FFA Organization recently selected the Gallatin R-5 High School FFA Chapter of Gallatin as a two-star winner in the National FFA Chapter Award program. The chapter members have been invited to attend the 77th National FFA Convention in Louisville, Ken., Oct. 27-30, where they will be recognized for this honor.
The Gallatin FFA Chapter was selected to be conferred one of the top three star rankings for the National Chapter Award program based upon how well the chapter developed, implemented, and presented its Program of Activities. Each activity provides opportunities for members to excel in one or more of three areas: student development, chapter development, and/or community development.
The National Chapter Award program is sponsored by Toyota as a special project of the National FFA Foundation.
