Funeral services for Ruby Hollingsworth, a native of Coffey, were held Monday at Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton. Interment was at Highland Cemetery, Hamilton.
Ruby R. Hollingsworth, 80, Hamilton, died Aug. 19, 2004, at the hospital in Cameron.
She had lived in Hamilton since 1946 and retired from the Stride-Rite Shoe Factory in Hamilton.
Born May 22, 1924, in Coffey, to Garfield and Mazena Hix Hughes, she was a member of the Hamilton First Baptist Church.
On Jan. 31, 1942, she married Austin Hollingsworth in Braymer. He preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death by a stepson, Vernon Williams.
Survivors include one daughter, Dixie Ann Rooney, Rayville; one sister, Madge Brook, Maxwell, Iowa; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
