Funeral services for Janet Embrey, a native of Gallatin, were held Monday at Meierhoffer Family Funeral Service. Interment was at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Janet M. Embrey, 61, St. Joseph, died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2004, at her home.
She was born Sept. 16, 1942, in Gallatin, Mo.
Mrs. Embrey was employed with Mead Products for 31 years, retiring in 1998.
On April 18, 1958, she married Dionne Lee Embrey in Troy, Kan. He survives of the home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Hubert and Lola Mae (Sisk) Brown; and four brothers, Gerald, Glen, Melvin and Charlie Brown.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Additional survivors include one son, Jamie Embrey, St. Joseph; four daughters, Rhonda Shaw, St. Joseph, Dianna Embrey, Wichita Falls, Texas, Wanda Wisneski, Drakesville, Iowa, and Janine Embrey, Rushville; four brothers, Norman Brown, Pocahontas, Ark., Lloyd Edward Brown, Anchorage, Alaska, Donald Brown, Lumberton, Texas, and Billy Brown, St. Joseph; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
