James Lewis, bridge supervisor, met with the commission reporting that the concrete deck replacement has been completed in Daviess County Special Road District, and will be open to traffic on Aug. 18. Tube replacements continue throughout the county. Bills were audited and paid.
John Mort, Gallatin, met with the commission regarding the carriage for the cannon. He has volunteered to drive to Clear Lake, Wis., to pick it up.
No one contacted the commission requesting an appointment for Board of Appeals.
Gene Hughes, Salem Township, met with the commission concerning brush at a bridge near his residence. The commission will see that it is removed.
The executed Child Support Enforcement Cooperative agreement with the Family Support Division of the State Department of Social Services was received and filed.
The commission spent much of the morning reviewing the hazardous material manuals in preparation for the bio-terrorism drill this week.
The commissioners reviewed the semi-annual budget to actual reports.
