Michelle Wilson from Altamont, vocational business instructor at Penney High School at Hamilton, was initiated into Who’s Who in Missouri Business Education during the Missouri Association for Career and Technical Education Conference in Springfield, July 26-29.
Michelle was recognized for her dedication in promoting and improving business education through leadership and involvement in educational and professional activities. She a member of NWMBEA, MBEA, NBEA, and MOACTE.
Earlier this summer, Michelle attended The Insurance Education Foundation at the campus of Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. At the conclusion of the Institute, Michelle was awarded the John C. Etling Scholarship Award. This award is presented to the teacher demonstrating highest achievement at the insurance institute. She will receive a check for $750.
The high school where she is employed, Penney High School in Hamilton, will receive a check for $250 which is to be spent on material or equipment for her choice in her department.
