Graveside services and burial for G. Franklin Wilder were held Friday at Hillcrest Cemetery in Gallatin, with military rites by the Frank Frazier V.F.W. Post No. 2172. Arrangements were by McWilliams Funeral Home, Gallatin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gallatin Senior Citizens Center.

G. Franklin Wilder, 70, Gallatin, died Wednesday, July 28, 2004.

Mr. Wilder was born April 1, 1934, to Ivan and Georgia “Anderson” Wilder in Jameson. He graduated form Gallatin High School in 1952. He lived most of his life in the Gallatin area.

Mr. Wilder worked for several years for the Herzog Contracting Company as a machinist and heavy equipment operator.

After retiring he was involved with the Senior Citizens Center in Gallatin.

He was a member of the First Christian Church in Gallatin.

Survivors include two sisters, Doris Linville, Gallatin; and Betty Moulin, Des Moines, Iowa; his aunt, Imogene Wilder, Gallatin; several nieces and nephews; and dear friend, Speed Nixon.
