Two women have been charged with hindering prosecution, Class D felony, in connection with the stabbing incident which occurred at Pattonsburg on July 24.
Two women have been charged with hindering prosecution, Class D felony, in connection with the stabbing incident which occurred at Pattonsburg on July 24.
Jennifer Brown, 19, McFall, and Jessica Hartley, 19, Pattonsburg, are accused of assisting in the escape of the Coffey man who is charged with the assault and of giving false statements about helping the subject leave the crime scene. Brown is also charged with misdemeanor assault 3rd degree for her part in the physical confrontation between the victim, Casey Anderson, and the suspect. Hartley has posted $15,000 bond. Brown is being held at Ray County Security Housing on $15,500 bond.
The suspect, who remains at large, is charged with assault second degree, Class C felony. Anderson was stabbed five times in the back and elbow during the assault.
