Rosie L. Cameron, 69, Pattonsburg, died Tuesday, July 20, 2004, at a St. Joseph hospital
Funeral services for Rosie Cameron were held Friday at the United Methodist Church in Pattonsburg. Burial was in Pattonsburg Memorial Gardens, under the direction of the Roberson Funeral Home in Pattonsburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church, Pattonsburg, in care of the funeral home.
Rosie L. Cameron, 69, Pattonsburg, died Tuesday, July 20, 2004, at a St. Joseph hospital.
Mrs. Cameron was born on May 14, 1935, in Daviess County, the daughter of Lewis and Ada (Cook) Read.
On Feb. 24, 1956, she married Ermal Cameron. He survives of the home.
Mrs. Cameron owned and operated with her husband the Little Acre Launderette in Pattonsburg. She was also city clerk of Pattonsburg for several years.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Pattonsburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Other survivors include four sons, Jim of Cameron, Charley of Gallatin, Tracy of St. Joseph, and Rod of Stockton, Ill.; three daughters, Mary Jo Hutchraft of Union Star, Bonnie McFall of Dearborn, and Margie Jarrett of Kansas City; her stepmother, Claudia Read of Bethany; one stepbrother, Gary Sweany of Independence; one stepsister, Barbara Mull of Independence; 20 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
