Services were held July 27 at Poland-Thompson Chapel, Cameron, for Erma Frances Munn, 93, Kansas City, formerly of Cameron, who passed away Saturday, July 24, 2004, at her daughter’s home. Burial was in the Winston Cemetery, Winston. Memorials may be made to the Stella Grinstead Nutrition Center. Arrangements were by Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron.
Erma was born on Nov. 7, 1910 on a farm near Pattonsburg, to Manfred and Laura (Williams) Thompson.
She married Ferris Munn in November 1928 and settled on a farm near Winston, for 36 years. Erma was a homemaker and a member of the Cameron United Methodist Church.
Erma was preceded in death by her husband, Ferris; daughter and son-in-law, Aloha Lee and Edsel Carter; and a sister, Thelma Culver.
Survivors include two daughters Maxine Kessler of Kansas City and Virginia Coots of Kidder; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
