Super Summit will soon be ready for children

The Super Summit Play Station is now in place just east of the shelter house at Dockery Park in Gallatin. The park board bought the play station for $9,719 in November of 2002. The play station arrived in January of 2003. Wes Bode of Spencer Refrigeration Company out of Perry, Iowa, was awarded the bid to put up the play set. Work started this June 22. Dennis Carpenter said the play station took about four days for him and Mr. Bode to put together. The dirt work is finished and as soon as the grass seeding takes hold the play station will be ready for the children to enjoy . [Staff Photo/TLH]
