Mrs. Ryan, 66, died July 7, 2004, following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services for Beatrice Ryan of Orlando, Fla., a sister of Blanche Archer and Georgia Maxwell of Jamesport, were held Monday at the First Baptist Church in Maitland, Fla. Burial was in the Florida National Cemetery at Bushnell.
Mrs. Ryan, 66, died July 7, 2004, following a lengthy illness.
Born in Chicago, Ill., she moved to Orlando in 1969. She worked many years as a portrait artist for Disney World, and was commissioned by Howard Johnson to paint murals of Florida’s Indian Chiefs in their hotel lobbies.
Mrs. Ryan was married to George Ryan in 1980. He died in 1997. She was also preceded in death by a son, Darwin; her parents; and one sister, Charlotte.
Other survivors include two other sisters, her twin, Barbara Burkhart of Orlando, and Sheila Ramsbottom of Montague., Calif.; two brothers, Robert Price of Morgantown, Ind., and Jerry Price of Dennison, Texas; and a stepbrother and stepsister, Larry VanDeusen and Shirley Umfleet of Licking.
