Erin Croy, daughter of Dennis and Sherri Croy, Emily Gay, daughter of Keith and Tammy Gay and Lindsey Robertson, daughter of Richard and Kathy Robertson, attended the 63rd session of Missouri Girls State, sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary, Department of Missouri, which concluded June 26.
Girls State introduces the delegates to the principles of patriotism and belief in God and Country. In addition, through hands on application of the democratic process, they form their own city, county and state governments.
Erin was elected to police officer of her city. Lindsey and Emily were elected police judges and state representatives.
Classes provided information and guidance for these future leaders as voting American citizens. Courses available included law, law enforcement, legislative and executive, communication/media and law.
