The schedule of classes for the Daviess County Swim Program at the Gallatin City Pool is as follows:

July 5-16 — Gallatin students.

July 19-30 — rest of the county.

Session Times and Levels are: 8-8:45 a.m. for levels 6-7; 9-9:45 for levels 4-5; 10-10:45 for levels 2-3; and 11-11:45 for level 1.

Aug. 2-6 — All County

Adults/Community Water Safety 7-9 am.; 10 a.m. for 4 and 5 year-olds; 11 a.m. for 3 years and under (must have parent or adult that will get in the pool).

Water exercises will be held instead of lessons if the group prefers. Adults interested should contact instructors to enroll. If there is not enough interest, class will be canceled. Classes can be from one to two hours and T-shirts may be worn to make the class fun and comfortable for participants.

Red Cross Water Safety Instructor is Jessica (King) Gannon. Water Safety Chairman is Ann Schweizer (663-2087).

To help finance the program, you are asked to contribute $10 and return it to the city pool in an envelope, sealed, marked “Swim Program” with the student’s name on the outside, or bring it with the student on the first day of lessons.
