The following books have been placed in the Daviess County Library.

In honor of Rex T. Jackson, Eula Jackson placed “James B. Eads: the Civil War Ironclads and his Mississippi.” The New York School District IV placed “A is for Abigail: an almanac of amazing American women” by Lynne Cheney. Billie and Forrest Meadows placed the following books: “Great American quilts” and “The perfect wife: the life and choices of Laura Bush” in memory of Rosalie Clark; “My personal best: life lessons from an all-American journey” by John Wooden in memory of Ivan McNeely; “I am a soldier, too: the Jessica Lynch story” and “Waterfalls and fountains” in memory of Cecil Morris; and in memory of Garl Clark “Last man out: life on the edge at Rescue 2 Firehouse” and “Outdoor water features: 16 easy-to-build projects for your yard & garden.”
