The purpose for this letter is to inform the Christian Community on the Update of the Federal Marriage Amendment bill.
According to a nonprofit, nonpartisian organization called, The American Family Association –
The U.S. Senate will vote on The Federal Marriage Amendment on or about July 15. The following is how our two U.S. Senators currently stand on their support or opposition to the Federal Marriage Amendment, which defines marriage as being between one man and one woman only.
Sen. Jim Talent will support the bill. His Kansas City phone number is 816-421-1639, be sure to call and thank him for supporting this bill.
Sen. Christopher S. “Kit” Bond does not support the bill. His Washington phone number is 202-224-5721 and his District Office in Kansas City is 816-471-7141.
Let him know, tactfully, you want him to vote in favor of the Federal Marriage Amendment.
