Memorial Graveside services for Dale Sharp will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 26, at Centenary Cemetery, Gallatin. Arrangements are by McWilliams Funeral Home, Gallatin.

Dale F. “Red” Sharp, 83, Maryville, died Friday, June 18, 2004, at the Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph.

Mr. Sharp was born Jan. 15. 1921, to Floyd K. and Rosa V. (Weathermon) Sharp in Guilford.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy.

Mr. Sharp was employed at Maryville Packing Co, until his retirement.

He was a member of the Christian Church.

On Aug. 22, 1941, he married Marjorie McCoy in Bethany. Mrs. McCoy was born and raised in Gallatin.

Mr. Sharp was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Marjorie, of the home; four daughters, Kay Davison, Maryville, Dena Baer, Kissee Mills, and Carla Schmitz, Parnell; two sons, Dale A. and Jim Sharp, Maryville; one sister, Rosetta Dooley, Kissee Mills; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
