Funeral services for Doris Frye, mother of Virginia Parrack of Pattonsburg, were held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Poland-Thompson Chapel, Cameron. Burial was at Cameron Memory Gardens.
Doris Frye, 77, Cameron, died Saturday, June 5, 2004.
Mrs. Frye was born on Nov. 4, 1926, in Shilbottle, England, to Richard and Mary Ellen (Robinson) Nicholson.
She was a member of the First Assembly of God, and prayer chairman of Woman’s Aglow.
She married Lawrence Frye on June 26, 1945, in Alnwick, England. He preceded her in death.
Other survivors include four sons, Larry of Pueblo, Colo., Roy of Odessa, Mike of Cameron, and Leslie of Columbus, Ga.; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
