For almost 30 years a short little lady with a smile, hug or pat on the back has fed hundreds of people. Some of these folks were your loved ones. A segment were from some other town, county or state. It did not matter to this gracious woman, who cooked daily for the nursing home residents and staff. The nursing home is now titled Lake Viking Health Care, but it still has an employee from the days it was our “Highlands.” Through the changes and over the span of years, Jetta Rogers continued to come to work, rain or shine. Even the loss of her husband and close fellow employees did not detour her. Give this fine lady a big Thank You for caring for so many all these years. Sincerely,
