Fred Burge, 97, Gallatin, died Wednesday, May 12, 2004, at the Lake Viking Health Care Center
Funeral services for Fred Burge were held Saturday, at McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin.
Burial was at Masonic Cemetery in Jamesport. Memorials may be made to the Gallatin Senior Citizens Center.
Fred Burge, 97, Gallatin, died Wednesday, May 12, 2004, at the Lake Viking Health Care Center.
Mr. Burge was born Sept. 7, 1906, to Farley and Pearl “Jenkins” Burge in rural Daviess County.
He attended school in Carlow. He spent most of his life living and working on the farm.
Mr. Burge was employed at the Gallatin MFA for 11 years. After retirement, he moved to Gallatin.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Gallatin.
Mr. Burge is survived by one sister, Betty Wiseman, Bradenton, Fla.; and one brother, William F. Burge, Houston, Texas.
