Georgia Maxwell, Recorder of Deeds, filed her certificate of training for 2004.
Nancy Hughes met with the commission requesting that the flower beds be watered weekly. The commission will instruct the maintenance department.
Kevin Heldenbrand, sheriff, met with the commission regarding equipment grants.
Bills were audited and paid.
Bill Eckert, Jamesport Special Road District, discussed problems in that district involving a culvert on 292nd Street. The commission will inspect.
Notice was received from the Missouri State Public Defender System that the office rent is increasing with the May statement, due to staff increases to nine attorneys and four full-time staff people.
In the afternoon, the commission inspected erosion of a road bank in Jamesport Special Road District and brush removal in Sheridan Township.
The remainder of the day, the commission worked on a grant application for homeland security from the State Emergency Management Agency.
