Boy Scout Troop 67 took an overnight trip to the SAC Museum at Omaha, NE this past weekend. The 11 boys and eight leaders and adults who attended camped overnight in the museum, then toured the facility, including planes, flight simulators, the International Space
Station exhibit, and the September 11th Exhibit. Scouts who attended fulfilled some requirements towards a merit badge.
Those Scouts who attended were: Bradley Jones, Bradley Berten, Logan Corwin, Kevin Corwin, John Corwin, Jonathon Arnold, Phillip Arnold, Mitch King, Nick Rutherford, Andrew Pierce, and Billy Kerns.
Those adults and leaders who attended were: Karl Kerns, Eric Corwin, Mark Corwin, Darien Rutherford, Susan Rutherford, David Roll, Cliff King, and Kevin Berten.
Upcoming events: The Scouts will travel to the local nursing home to personally thank Virginia Walls who recently donated $500 to the troop. Mrs. Walls will be serenaded by Troop 67 in appreciation for her kind gift. During Memorial Day weekend, Troop 67 will aid the local VFW by taking on the responsibility for raising and lowering the flag at Lyle, Brown, and Hillcrest Cemeteries.
