The Jean Groom Memorial Scholarship was presented to Mitch Riley by Sue Gillilan, president of Laureate Delta Rho chapter of Beta Sigma Phi. Mitch is the son of Jeff and Anita Riley and the grandson of Don and Carol Weaver and Lloyd and Evelyn Riley. He plans to study
agri-business at Northwest Missouri State University at Maryville. The Jean Groom Memorial Scholarship was created in 1982 to honor Jean who was a beloved, long-time member of the chapter. It is presented annually to a Gallatin High School senior.
